Baby wearing is easy, but some types of slings and wraps require more practice than others. Also, those carriers which look easy can be easy to get wrong, so read the manufacturer’s instructions carefully and look in a mirror at your work before putting your baby in for the first time.

Soft Carriers
BabyBjorn Instructions – There are several different types of BabyBjorn soft structured carriers, so it would be best to visit their company website for instructions at http://www.babybjorn.com/en-gb/Eng/products/Mobility/BABYBJORN-Baby-Carrier-Original/Instructions-for-use/
Our main tip, particularly for older BabyBjorn’s is that you make sure the baby’s arms go through the arm holes, not over them. Often we have seen parents walking with their infant’s arms above the arm hole, instead of through it, reducing head support and risking the baby falling out. The newer versions of the BabyBjorn are more intuitive because the top strap of the arm holes have padding that is obvious for resting the baby’s head, so you are much less likely to put the baby’s arms on top.
