4 Stars Good for the back
This bag has been great for my shoulders and back. I am seeing improvement in my posture which helps ease the neck pain I was experiencing. I am still getting used to how different it is from my usual purse. The pockets make organizing simple, but there are so many, sometimes I forget where I stashed something.

5 Stars My second healthy bag tote
I bought this leather version of the AmeriBag Healthy Bag tote because I had formerly had the nylon version and liked it, but had trouble keeping it clean. I believe the leather version is worth the extra money for a purse that is going to be used regularly. I tend to carry a lot of “stuff” in my purses, and having this tote slung across my back relieves stress on my arms and shoulder that regular handbags caused. Cognac was a rich brown color that goes well with everything.

5 Stars This is a beautiful bag!
I have had nylon AmeriBags in the past in both taupe ( large) and black ( medium). These bags remain in perfect condition after years of hard use. They just don’t wear out. As a treat to myself, I decided to purchase the red leather bag. It is everything I hoped for. All the fine qualities the other bags have offered only in quality leather. The red is just beautiful. This is my first “small” bag and it is quite adequate for my needs. If you had 10 stars, that is what I would give this bag. I love it.

1 Star Really bad customer service
We purchased one of the Hellix Healthy bags a few months ago on a retail store. It’s a good bag with a lot of pockets and compartments where you can have everything well organized. Sometimes it’s a bit uncomfortable when you were it for more than 1 hour and you have some moderate weight in it.

Cons.

Their customer department. Two of the zippers went bad on it and we emailed the company. Then we emailed them back again after we didn’t receive any emails from them. I can’t recommend buying a bag from them. If something goes bad with it, you are on your own. I’m going to post this same review for everyone of the bags this company make. I would have liked an email even if it was to say that the bag was not under warranty and I was going to have to pay for the repair. I’m not giving them zero stars because that is not an option.

5 Stars This bag rocks!
I have used the microfiber medium bag for more than 10 years. I love it for travel. Many pockets to organize plus the large area in side will hold my video camers, regular camera, a book, water bottle and snacks. Awesome for those airline carryone rules as so much fits in the bag and it is still a purse. I selected the microfiber version over the leather because is was so much lighter to start with and I knew I would be putting tons of stuff in it. No trouble keeping it clean either, a little spot remover once in a while.

5 Stars I LOVE this bag!
I have a bad back and after a long round of physical therapy, have started to do more walking rather than driving when I run errands. I own two smaller Ameribags, but needed slightly larger one that would hold a folder, notebook, sketchbook, or a hardbound book for when I stopped at a coffee shop or for lunchtime reading. This medium size is exactly what I wanted, and is still comfortable and “back friendly”.

There are more than enough pockets and I’m still trying to figure out the best way to organize it, but I especially like the outer zippered pocket that lets me keep my wallet securely against my side so I can find it easily without having to dig through the main bag. The other velcro pocket on the opposite side makes it easy to find house keys and a cell phone too.

Additionally I appreciate the fact that the shoulder strap is long enough so that I can arrange the bag across my shoulders if it gets too heavy or for longer walks.

I purchased mine in Brick, and have gotten several compliments on the lovely, soft color. I’m hoping the canvas will be easier to clean than my other microfiber bags, which do become stained over time. If it comes out in red, turquoise or other bright colors I’ll buy another in a heartbeat. I may do so anyway.

Bottom line – I think I’ve found my darn near perfect bag.

4 Stars Pretty Hand Bag
This a great everyday bag. Its compartments are handy and plenty. My wallet, small note pad, pen, and small journal fit PERFECTLY in the pockets. I swear its almost like they made it for me. The bag itself fits about 3 average sized books. Its oblong shape doesn’t fit my sketch books very well though.

All in all I probably need the large version for my needs. But as you go up in size you go down in good colors unfortunately. I would also advise to say away from MicroFiber. Its kinda nice but feels kinda cheap. It kind a loud too. Well if things rub on it. Personally I like their high end (leather) and low end bags (canvas).

I have purchased a similar bag from this company before and therefore was sure of the quality. Normally I would use a small bag but because of travelling overseas, I decided to get the medium size so I could carry more in it. It is roomy. I love all the pockets. And it is so well designed that you don’t feel the weight of the contents.

This is the second healthy bag that I have purchased. The first one lasted at least five years. I have used the healthy bag as a purse because with three boys it seems I am always carrying something. The quality of this product is excellant. I like the room and the way it sits on my shoulder. It definately takes the pressure off my back and shoulders as it promises.

I’ve owned an AmeriBag for about 3 years and decided to get a replacement because it is by far the best I’ve ever had. The one I own is still in good shape and I’m planning to give it a good cleaning and use it as well. It’s not only roomy but has a great organization system. The only problem I had was with the order. I wanted a microfiber bag and ebags sent a nylon bag which I had to return. The return was painless and now I’m waiting for my new AmeriBag to come.

5 Stars Great vacation bag
The Ameribag is easy to carry and carries just about everything. The many internal pockets let you put small things where you can find them again, but all that space has room for an umbrella and rain poncho, reading material, and the jacket for when the weather gets warmer than expected. It’s my second back bag and I bought it specifically for the day tours on our Alaskan cruise. I moved up from nylon to microfiber this time.

5 Stars HAD to have it in black, small
I am a Healthy Back Bag devotee – I have this same size bag in khaki, and use it most days. I am almost oblivious to it being on my shoulder it is so easy to wear. While the khaki works with just about anything I have on, black is my preference for so many accessories I choose, so I decided to add this to my collection.

NOTE: I also bought the extra-small bag of the same variety, also in black, as I wanted a very small bag to accommodate my ultra-essential items when we went to dinner, without toting a cumbersome item to enclose my stuff.

Healthy Back bags are the BEST – your physique will deeply appreciate the consideration you are showing in selecting a bag that doesn’t inappropriately tax your spine/joints in carrying your things about. Ordered this, my umpteenth Healthy Back Bag, as a tiny accessory to hold my stuff when we go out to dinner. It’s the perfect size, unobtrusive, tastefully black, works with anything I wear. Neither too little, and definitely not big. Holds my Blackberry, a notepad, pen, my sunglasses/change of glasses, and a sundry thing or 2.

Love it.

This bag holds a lot of stuff in easy-to-access pockets. The wide shoulder strap is very comfortable and has a no-slip backing that keeps it in place. The overall design of the bag does seem to cause less stress on my shoulder and back. I will buy another one in a different color.

3 Stars Big Fan–but what to do when wearing a winter coat?
I love my Ameribags, but I wish they would stay put when I’m traveling. Once I’m wearing a heavy coat, and/or wrangling luggage, the Ameribags start to slip off my shoulder. I’m going to experiment with making the strap longer, to see if that helps.

But, yes: those extra compartments really fight the chaos factor.

5 Stars Really excited about my bag/purse I received
I don’t want to call Ameribag a purse because it’s too ‘cool looking’ to be called ‘just a purse’. So I call it a ‘back pack’ bag. It fits around my right shoulder and hangs down very comfortably. It’s also very safe; I don’t have any worries of anyone trying to steal anything out of it because they couldn’t REACH anything the way it is set up. There is so much room it’s amazing! 2 zippers on the outside on top of compartments for papers, wallets, medications, etc. Then there is the inside, WOW! Talk about a ‘Silver Lining!’ The color is silver with I can’t even come up with how many compartments there are where you can put ‘ANYTHING STUFF’ in it. There are zippers, pockets, side openings, to name a few. The inside is really big with a lot of room. So anyway, let me put it this way in a few easy words, “If you are looking for a purse, back pack, handbag, (etc.), this Ameribag is the one to buy. It is very well worth it’s price.”

The bag is as described though the “distressed nylon” is more rough surfaced than expected. It carries well and is roomy but due to it’s shape the pockets inside are somewhat awkward to use.

5 Stars Durable Organizer
This is my second Healthy Back bag. I had my first one for eleven years! I regularly washed the bag and, amazingly, it maintained its appearance. The bag is still in great shape; no ripped out seams or worn patches, but the light color has begun to show its age.

I carried that bag to work daily during that time. I would tell people that I could survive for days in the wilderness with what that bag contained. All of the pockets and compartments, both inside and out, allowed me to organize everything for easy access.

When I purchased my new bag, I pleasantly surprised by a feature that my original bag did not have–a non-slip surface on the strap. Thank you Ameribag! Nylon on nylon could be quite slippery, but I have no difficulty keeping the bag on my shoulder even when wearing a lightweight nylon windbreaker.

I highly recommend this product to anyone interested in a quality product with great design features.

The Ameribag is perfect for my needs. I work in the field a lot (Army) and can pretty much throw everything into it that I need. Truly alot of space!! I may go back at somepoint and purchase the small one for site seeing etc. Also like the fact that it goes across the body….
