We were looking for a book that had a little of everything and we chose this book. We really enjoy adding all the special moments so far. It is quality bound and we have had no problems with the book. We brought it to the hospital and had the nurse add our daughter’s footprints.

This book has so many features (topics) to write about and fill in about your new baby. I am having a girl and I didn’t want a very PINK book and this is very gender neutral which can be used for both boys and girls. It will keep records for 5 years on your child. I love it!

I was kindof late getting my first born’s memories archived and needed something that would cover the first five years. He is 2 now. I liked this book because of the differnet areas you could fill in. My only compliant would be not enough space for pictures and text. (We took alot of pictures!) I understand not everything can fit in it but more than one picture per event would have been nice. Other than that, for the price and quality, it is very nice.

5 Stars Bought it again for our second child!
These Carters baby albums are very cute, high quality, and easy to use. They have pockets for the photos rather than those electrostatic pages which makes them far easier to use (in my opinion). They also have space to write notes next to each photo. We liked the one we got for our daughter so much, we bought another when we had our son.

5 Stars Classy alternative to the too-cartoony baby books
This book is just what I was looking for – good quality leather cover, classic styling, and all the pages & information you want to keep for your baby’s treasured moments without the too-cutesy overkill. There are little pictures at the top of each page but they are nice soft colors, very traditional and tasteful.

There are pages for everything you could want to record here. We really liked the first pages with some pre-birth memories like “when did you find out” & “how did mommy break the news to daddy” etc, spots for sonogram pictures, nursery planning photos, and notes on highlights of the first, second & third trimesters, as well as shower pages to record gifts received. There are brief family trees, pages for mini-bios of mom & dad (with spots for photos), and pages & pages of all the traditional baby-book “firsts”; first smile, first step, first tooth, first sat up, first word…and many more. There are also some detailed record keeping pages, like a place to track the date EACH tooth comes in, with a little diagram, and an immunization record page.

Like most baby books the focus is on the first year, after that there is about a page or two for each year through age 5, to record significant memories, photo collages, birthday gifts, etc. Overall it’s a beautiful book and my husband & I are already filling out what we can before baby arrives!

SO glad I bought this! It is classic and timeless, no silly disney characters or cliche baby kitch. My son, as a grown man, won’t be embarrassed by this. It has all the right milestones and focuses mainly on the first year, but I especially appreciate the room for memorabilia and photos for the first five years of baby’s life.

4 Stars Less expensive at your local big box baby store
I like this baby book but it’s cheaper at your local big box baby store. I was surprised that Amazon did not have the best price on this item and I could have kicked myself for paying more for it with shipping when I could have bought it down the street for less. With that noted the baby book is very nice. I like the style of it, the color of the leather is nice and muted, and it has all of the pages you want for recording all of the events for the baby with more emphasis on the first year.
